Shopify, already working with eBay, recently announced it would work with Amazon to make it even easier for selling on the marketplace. The company said U.S. sellers will now be able to design listings on Shopify for seven new products categories with backing for the Amazon Brand Registry.
In the past, Shopify users could list items from the website to the Clothing and Accessories category. Today, users can list items to the following categories:
- Beauty and Personal Care
- Health and Household
- Sewing, Arts, and Crafts
- Home and Kitchen
- Toys and Games
- Patio and Garden
- Sports and Outdoors
If your Amazon.com account is Brand Registered, you can acquiesce your Brand Registered items from Shopify. All you need to do is add the Amazon items in Shopify to produce new listings and manage the ones already set up.
Amazon Brand Registry makes it easy for one to become a brand owner and create Amazon listings. When you become an Amazon Brand Registered seller, you have total control over the listings, which negates the necessity for UPC/EAN codes. This feature means you can stay on Shopify and produce your Amazon listings from there.
The only fee you pay for the Brand Registered service is the $39.99 subscription for Amazon’s Professional Seller account. Most business sellers already have the Pro Amazon account.
